Monday Hostess

HAPPY HALLOWEEN everyone!!
Tanya here and I am so delighted to be your Monday hostess today.  So a little about me.  I am on the Digital Delights team and love working with everyone!  I am married to my childhood sweetheart and we have one beautiful little girl named Abigail.   She keeps me busy but luckily for me she goes to bed early so I have time to create things LOL

So for today's project instead of doing a Halloween card, I decided to do something for Christmas :)  My shaped ornament card is a cutting file that can be found in the store.  The little reindeer is from the 3D decoupage line that Wendy offers.  The papers aren't from Digital Delights however the Kids Christmas digital papers are a perfect match to what I used :)

All about toppers

So what are toppers? Well they can mean different things, I think in Europe they mostly mean a cut out stamped image that you place on top of a card. Here at Digital Delights, toppers are mainly the head/hands of characters that you place on your projects. They look like they are peeking out!
Shell has made this adorable set of boxes using our Christmas Toppers Set # 4. I think they are all absolutely stunning!!

She also used some of our Christmas sentiments

Saturday Showcase with Wendy

Hi folks,
Wanda is taking a well deserved break for a few weeks, so I will be showcasing some of our products for the next few weeks. Hope I can match up to Wanda's fabulous and inspiring projects.
Today I want to share some of the new Delightful Cuts we have in the store.
First up is our "Ornament Card cut file"

I made these two using the cut file and my Cricut to cut out the card. All files come with a printable PDF, so if you don't have a cutting machine, it is super easy to print it and cut by hand!
1. Cut out the card base and fold at the top
2. Glue the scalloped circle and then the plain circle on top
3. Cut two of the circular loop (one for the front and back)
4.Glue the circular loop at the top
5. Cut two of the ornament top (rectangular shape)
6. Glue to front and back
7. Decorate the front with your favorite stamps/sentiments. I used one of our new sets called "Christmas Kids"  and our Winter Ticket Sentiment set

Second is our Mitten Cut File

1. Cut out the mitten background
2. Glue the large cuff and then the smaller cuff if desired.
3. Add some ribbon to add to the cuff
4. Add your stamps/sentiments of your choice. Here I used the scalloped circle from our Scalloped Background set and then attached our Circular Merry Christmas sentiment

Well hope this has given you some new ideas for those Christmas cards! and see you tomorrow for some DT inspiration.

This Weeks Guest DT

  Happy Wednesday
 This weeks GDT is
Wendy from Mrs. Bs Spot

 Here's alittle bit about Wendy,
I’d like to thank Digital Delights by Louby Loo for the opportunity to be the Guest Design Team member this week. I’ve been a papercrafter from a wee age, sitting with my Grandma Betty in her craftroom making our own embellies-crocheting our flowers, beading, decopaging, sewing, etc. for our creations – lovely times and special memories. I’ve been married to my bestest friend for 26 years, blessed with 5 fabulous children, now with 7 grandkiddos – my life is wonderful! I hope you enjoy my project – it was so fun to make.

Wendy used the adorable Oralie the sleepy Mouse
Be sure to pop over to check out her wonderful creations
Thanks for Joining us this week Wendy!!!!

Monday Hostess

Hello everyone,

Melissa here and I am so delighted to be your Monday hostess today.  So a little about me.  I am on the Delightful Challenges team and am having a ball!  I've "known" Wendy since she first started out, I think I was her number 2 or 3 follower and have loved her work ever since.  I am single mother of 3 amazing children.  My boys and my daughter are the joy of my life and keep me pretty busy.  I am originally from Denver, CO but currently reside in Sanford, FL.

With all the Halloween tricks and treats going on, I decided to do something for everyday.  I have been commissioned lately to do some birthday cards, so that's where the inspiration for this share came from.

I think this is perfect to give to a friend or a co-worker.

I had the greatest time creating this little birthday ensemble.  I saw the idea for the little tealight cake on Splitcoast forever ago and am so excited that I have finally made one!

Here's the card featuring Giraffe with Sign and Spots and Stripes digi paper.  I added a text box over his sign to add my sentiment.

 The little cake "unlit."

And lit....

It even flickers!  So cute!!!

I hope you enjoyed my share today.  I really enjoyed creating these items to inspire you.

Hugs Melissa
