Here's alittle about Lorraine:

Before I started card making, about 10yrs ago, I used to crochet, create Ready Rugs and hangings also tried tapestry. It was while I was off work long term ill that I was inspired by Craft programmes to try my hand at card making, since then I have never looked back it is my life line especially since being retired early from work. I love to use both digital and stamped images, my stock of both is rather large, but then there are so many beautiful images to work with.

I am fortunate enough to design for several DT's and I am so proud of this.

For those of you that do not know Lorraine you really should pop over to her blog, she does amazing work and I personally stop over there from time to time to check out her wonderful creations and to get ideas.

Lorraine used Time for Tea BooBoo for this card, coloured BooBoo in perfectly and added lots of embellishments to the card, giving it a vintage look to it

Hey everyone, it's Audrey (aka Hippieaud), with you today for Hostess Monday! I am a stay at home mom of 4 children ages 7-12. My oldest and youngest children are girls and the middle 2 are boys. My oldest has Autism, which makes life very interesting - sometimes for better and others for worse, but always interesting and unpredictable.

I have been crafting in some form or another ever since I was a small child. I made scrapbooks well before they were popular and there were so many products available. My high school and college scrapbooks were made using construction paper and rubber cement! I also ran a business where I sold handmade jewelry, batik clothing and custom made gift baskets. Each Christmas, I make all my own bows for each and every present that I wrap.

I began stamping around 6 years ago when my SU demo friend shared some products with me and showed me how to make cards. I've been hooked ever since. Most people who see my crafting closet (yes, I craft in my closet!) joke that it's like a craft store in there. I just know that I love it! I began blogging and working with digital stamps a little over 2 years ago and I love every minute of it. Being part of DTs and meeting wonderful crafty people all over blogland has really gotten me through a lot of tough times and also helps me relax and get away from the rigors of everyday life, so I am very grateful for the opportunity to be able to spend time doing something I enjoy so much.

I have been on the DIGITAL DELIGHTS DT for over a year and a half now and still adoring all my time here and being able to work with Wendy's FABULOUS images, papers and sentiments. I am one of the lucky ladies who is part of the Senior DT, so I get to do the weekly Bargain or Freebie Friday posts as well as oversee the forum groups that DIGITAL DELIGHTS has - on PCP, SNR and The Crafter's Cafe. If you are not members of one or more of these groups, I hope you will check them out!

Probably one of my very FAVORITE things about DIGITAL DELIGHTS images is that they come in both jpg and png formats. Wendy's png files are so much fun to layer to create even more fun images by combining 2 or more images. I try to do that as often as I can for my DIGITAL DELIGHTS projects.

Today for you, I have used Elvin the Toad and I have put him in from of Elvin the Toad Background - both can be found at DIGITAL DELIGHTS SHOP. I use GIMP editing program to layer my images - I am always so excited to see how they turn out:) For my sentiment on this card, I used the blank checkerboard sentiment border from DIGITAL DELIGHTS SHOP and added my own text using MS Word. Besides adding some ribbon and DP as well as using a couple die cuts, I wanted to keep my creation free from too many embellishments so you could get a good view of the image.

I enjoyed "chatting" with all of you today and I wish you a glorious week!!

Hi guys and a very happy Sunday! We have some more fab Valentine creations to share today from the DTKatie made this beauty of a valentine card using Angel Donita and our Ticket sentiments. I also love those flowers (tutorial please Katie?) Chriss made these super cute projects using our valentine toppers and delicious they look too!! Chriss also used our Valentine Papers, buggy sentiment and loving you sentiment I have to say all this valentine candy is so inviting but alas I just got the Jillian Michaels new DVD and candy and Jillian just don't go together!! On the other hand I could workout out and burn calories so I can eat the candy??? Ahhhh now that is food for thought! See you all tomorrow for our Hostess Monday with Karen.

Saturday Showcase with Wendy

Hi guysToday I have put together a video (be nice it was my first time speaking on one!LOL) over on our tutorial page and also our You Tube channel.It shows you how to put together the sentiments from our new set "Birthday Family Sentiments"

This is a great addition for all your family birthday projects.

The video this week is using Photoshop Elements, which is a fab program and is a lot cheaper than regular Photoshop.

I am a Mother of one beautiful daughter , and I have been blessed with 2 wonderful Grandchildren.

I have a great husband of almost 30 years now that encourages me and my scrapbooking habits.

My Mom and my Twin sister also make cards and we have a lot of fun seeing what each other is doing and sharing things back and forth.

Just got into Copic markers and digi stamps recently and I am having a blast with them. I have been scrapbooking for about 10 or so years now. I have an awesome group of scrapbooking friends, which always makes it more fun to scrapbook. I teach Cricut Classes and card classes at the Local Scrapbook Store (Marco Paper) here in Centerville Ohio.

Corinne used the ever adorable BooBoo Bear and get well sentiment to create this wonderful card and tag. The shading on booboo is perfect and I love the colours Corinne used too

Love is in the air

Hi guys,

Hope you all had a fabulously crafty and fun weekend. I was super busy making up some new products. A couple of them are these new SVG cut Tuxedo and Wedding Dress Favor Boxes.

Perfect favor boxes for that special occassion.

I made this one and decorated it with fabric flowers and a ribbon around the center

The Tux was given a bit of pizazz with some black stickles for the shirt buttons and trim around the jacket.

You can puchase both of these boxes at the Digital Delights store. They come in various formats for cutting machines and also a printable pdf for hand cutting only.

Karen also made thesr adorable treat bags using our new Valentine toppers and sealed with a kiss sentiment. These are so yummy to look at and I am drooling over those milk buttons (thanks Karen, I can't get them here!LOL)

Hostess Monday

Happy Monday Everyone. Welcome to another Digital Delights Hostess Monday.

I am Larelyn Sartini, a Delightful Challenges design team member since June of 2011. It has been such a marvelous crafting journey being a part of this wonderful design team. I have been a papercrafer for almost 4 years, but only began using digital images when I discovered Digital Delights by Louby Loo. I can't tell you how much I love coloring these images with Copic markers - it's allowed me to add a whole new element to my designs. I even began teaching a Copic class at my local scrapbook store. Many crafters use digital images for cards, tags, and small gifts. Although most of my designs are cards, I've also used Wendy's images for page layouts and that's what I'm going to share with you today. This is a 12 x 12 page designed to hold two 3.5 x 5 pictures.

I chose Dilly Duck and Ladybug to be my featured image - I think it's just so sweet.

I added toadstools from the Toadstool Background set along with some prima daisies with Distress Stickles centers.

I thought the Best Friends ticket sentiment was the perfect caption for my page.

That's where I am at today! Spent all day yesterday taking down the Christmas decorations and as much as I love having them up, I do love how clean and spacious everything feels after they are down!! Hi guys, Happy to say I finally got finished the after Christmas tidy up!! Boy was there a lot to do, from paper to left overs, pots and pans to laundry!! It was worth every minute though, as we had a fabulous Christmas.I truly hope that you all did too..... Hi guys,The days are coming closer now and I don' know about you but it sure would be nice if we could have a couple of 48 hour days thrown in this week!Here are a couple more of my favorite Christmas projects..... I love this set by Katie, it just makes me smile. Katie use our Gingerbead Holiday set.I love the coordinating tin. These are fab for adding a gift card too:) Carol made this super fun table centerpiece. So cute with the lights string aroound it and then Eddie Elf surrounded with gifts. When I saw it I thought it was amazing. I am definitely making some of these and will also make smaller ones for each place setting with everyones name on them too.

Hi guys and Happy SaturdayWell as you know the DT are on a well deserved Christmas break BUT there will still be posts with inspiration for you over the holiday season.Over the next few days I though we would take a look back at some of the wonderful Christmas projects that our old and new DT have shared with us over the past couple of years................ I loved this one by Wanda, who took our igloo and made it the actual card shape and added Pickles the Penguin and Christmas sentiment. The added touch of life like snow and the lights strung around it created a wonderful card. I love cards that make a scene and this one was no exception by Cec. She used our Skiing Pippin as the focal point. Doesn't it look fab! and last for todayThis was a journal and tag set I made using our Christmas Toppers. The Toppers are so versatile and if you use the pre-colored versions, you can come up with some really great handmade gifts in no time at all. Some Christmas Inspiration

Hi guys,Here are a couple of fun projects using some of the new products we have in the store.

I made this using our All Purpose Box SVG Cut file. The file has so many uses, it could be used for a table centerpiece, vase, gift box, candy holder and so on. I decided to use it for a table centerpiece.

I cut out the file on my cricut machine and assembled it. I then took some holiday ribbon and attached it all the way around at the top, middle and bottom. Then I printed out FOUR stamps of Slippy the Penguin.

I measured him to be roughly a little under 5" tall. I cut him out and attached him to all four sides of the box.

On the inside I added some shredded paper and then added a little color changing snowflake. (Tried to show the colors changing above, would have been best to video it so you can see how pretty it looks changing!)

What is great about this project is it took less than 30 minutes to make!! Definitely my kind of project for this busy time of year

My next project was super simple and only took a few minutes to do!!!

Introducing "PRINTABLES" by Digital Delights

Our very first printable is this set of 4 Christmas Napkin Rings. The set comes with a sheet of 4 pre-colored rings, ready to print and cut. It also comes with the files individually too. This means that you can take one of the designs into your software program and duplicate the design, allowing you to print 4 of the same napkin ring. You can fit 4 of the designs to US letter sized paper.

Monday Hostess

Hi there my name is Wendy, better known in blogland as Purple Crazy. This Monday it’s my turn to be your hostess, I’ve been a designer at the Delightful Challenges Blog for almost a year now.

I’ve crafted at all sorts of things since I was a young child, now that’s an awful lot of years !! I started off being taught to knit by my mother and have tried many things since then, currently I’m into paper crafting, beading, Kumihimo and cross stitch, it depends how good or bad my health is what craft I end up doing, my crafting has kept me sane since becoming disabled and confined to a wheelchair several years ago, I often wonder know how I ever managed to fit in going to work.

I thought I would show you how to make the fan part of the card I made back in August, as I was asked by a few people how it was made, it’s very easy to do. I was shown the technique by one of my on-line friends at a Live Craft evening a couple of years ago.

These fan shapes can be made any size you wish, I’m using 1.5 inch squares this time, you will need five of them, they can be either ‘T’ bag squares or cut from papers as I have done in my DT card.

Let it snow sentiment

My DT card from August

Lay your papers face down like a diamond mark a line diagonally with a pencil.

Then fold two sides in towards the centre line you marked, Do this to all five pieces.

Now take a piece of card and stick your five folded papers to this, cut out leaving a small border

For extra definition you can layer this onto another piece of card and leave another small border, I finished mine off by making a small hole and threading ribbon through and adding some card candi.

I'm married to a wonderful man who supports and enables my paper craft addiction. We have two grade school age kids living at home and three adult children. We live in a small town in western Arizona along the Colorado River, both my husband and I have lived in the area most of our lives. I love all kinds of craft/home decor/renovation projects. I've been a card maker since 2004 and have discovered digital images and Copic markers in the last couple of years, I'm in paper crafters heaven!

For "work" I'm a volunteer for Operation Write Home who's mission is:

Supporting our nation's armed forces by sending blank handmade greeting cards to write home on, as well as cards of gratitude to encourage them.

I also volunteer as a design team coordinator for a paper crafting challenge blog and I'm a team member for a couple of other design teams. I'm very excited to be part of the Digital Delights by Louby Loo design team and can't wait to create fun projects with Wendy's fun digital images for you!

Hi Everyone, My name is Jo, better known as Joey in the crafting world, since when I begun I got confused with others posting on a forum with the same name, so I changed it,lol .

I have always enjoyed all things art and history and I have been crafting since 2005 and havent looked back since. I find colouring up images very theraputic. Since finding Digital Images my wooden stamps rarely see light now, I love the fact you can do pretty much what you like with a digi.

I live in London UK with my hubby and 3 kiddies, ages 10 soon to be 11, 7 and 1.I am a SAHM, My Son Niall is Autistic so that keeps me on my toes much of the time!!!

Karen - Designer

Hi, my name is Karen and I live in Kent in the UK. I have a wonderful hubby and 2 gorgeous kids, well I say kids our son is coming up for 18 and our daughter is 15, nearly gown ups! I have been card making for just a couple of years, my sister introduced me to it and after that there was no turning back. I am a very girly crafter, I love flowers, ribbon and lace and lots of layers. My favourite colouring medium is copics. My craft room is a cupboard under the stairs hence my blog title, it is an old 'walk in style' larder but it is very small and I have to stand, it would be lovely to have a craft room one day! I work full time in admin which uses up way too much crafty time but I fit in as much as I can at the weekends. I am so excited to be joining Digital Delights, I feel very proud to be working with such an amazing team and I hope you will enjoy my projects.

Nancy - Designer

Hello everyone, my name is Nancy Dawes and I am very excited to be joining the design team here at Digital Delights.

I love crafting of all kinds, especially working with the incredible variety and textures of paper products available today. I started collecting stamps and making cards over 20 years ago when there were only a few companies offering stamps, and digital images were not even a possibility. What I like best about digital images is that I can download them right away and get started making a new creation. I don’t have to wait!

I am passionate about many things; my family, my relationship to God, and my many crafting pursuits. I am a wife of 34 years to a great guy who supports all that I do. I have four grown children and five wonderful grandchildren.

While I live on Vancouver Island British Columbia, I am a born and bred American from California. Don’t be surprised if you see a little of my patriotic nature come through on my design team submissions.

Hi everyone, my name is Lisa Walsh.

I originally come from the UK but I live in beautiful Australia on the Central Coast of Sydney & have been for 26 yrs. I have 3 children. Michael 23, Cory 19 & Zoe who will be 12 yrs on New Years Day 2012.

I have been scrapbooking since the year 2000. Although I enjoy scrapbooking, my true love is stamping which I only started about 12 months ago. I am totally addicted & design with love & passion. I thoroughly enjoy creating my designs & have a fantastic time putting them together. I try to challenge myself with adopting different techniques & I look forward to working with Delightful Challenges & Wendy's wonderful digital images.

Hi everyone I'm Rachael, I live In Rotherham, South Yorkshire, UK. I'm married to Keith we have been together for 16 years, We have a beautiful 14 year old daughter named Bethany. My family is very supportive to me, I spend many hours crafting and they don't ever complain to which I really appreciate. I work full time as a community warden and deal with a variety of issue's no two days are ever the same. I'm fairly new to crafting and got into the field of crafts by booking me and Bethany onto a card making class, well that was it I was completely hooked I absolutely love it. Its opened a whole new world up for me, I have met many lovely people since crafting through social networking. I particularly like making cards and using stamps, digi stamps, promarkers, ribbons and embellishments. I'm so excited about joining the delightful challenges design team this is a totally new experience for me, I'm really looking forward to the new year.

God first. Mommy-ing second. For me, the rest of my life flows beautifully WHEN I praise the world as a LOVING place. I'm 55 and officially a 'Crone" and Senior (doesn't sound as good eh.) When I told my youngest (14) Crone meant Wise Woman, he gleefully chuckled and said: "What's Up Crone-Dog." In my other life I was a Psychiatric and Detox Institutional Chaplain. I am, I suppose, still a Minister, but GOD speaks to me through my ART now, which has been a passion since childhood. I have been blessed with 3 miracles who are my true loves: my children. We have 2 puppies and 2 kittens. I 'opted out' or Toronto City Life at 39, and have lived a minimalistic life in the woods. In between praying, playing and creating, currently I am doing a Ph.D in Metaphysical Science. I feel grateful and blessed to know that God's Divine Light is without end, as proven to me daily through my 3 cubs! I am thrilled and grateful to be a DT for the Digital Delights Challenges. Hi my name is Susan Flynn I have recently retired and live in Blackpool England with my husband. I have two children and one gorgeous grandson. Now that I have retired I am able to indulge my love of crafts and start to use some of the stash that I have collected whilst I was working. Actually that was my intention but it is really difficult to use stash, much easier to buy more stash!! I love card making and particular stamping and have just discovered the freedom that digital stamps can give plus you don’t have to wait for the postman to deliver them!!
