Hostess Monday with Wendy - Gift Card Holder

Hi guys,
It's Hostess Monday here at Digital Delights and it is my turn this week.

So hi there from Louby Loo and hope you will enjoy my tutorial.
We are using today our Gift card box holder, which comes with various formats for your cutting machine and also comes with a printable pdf for those that prefer to cut their project by hand!
This is such a great pattern in that it can be used for almost any occassion. I decided with Fathers Day just around the corner to create one for this special dads day! (If you are anything like me, who knows what to buy men and they always love to get a Gift card!)
To start, cut out the inside and outside of the boxes.
(I also used papers from our "Just for men" digital paper pack")

Above shows how it looks when using the printable PDF file

Using you score tool, mark indents on the dotted lines. This makes the folds crisp and easier to fold.

Above show the inner part of the box once the ends are secured.

Score the lines on the outer box and attach some glue or tape to the end flap. Secure the box together

Insert the inner box and fold the bottom of the outer box in

Box is almost complete

For closure I like to use velcro dots which stick nicely on the inside and are hidden from view

To finalize your box, decorate with your favorite stamps (from Digital Delights of course!)
and add embellishments to coordinatee.

All you have to do now is insert you gift card!

Tutorial is also available here for those who prefer video formats or why not check all our videos out on our YouTube Channel.

I hope you enjoyed today tutorial. Christine will be back tomorrow with another fun one for you!
Thanks for stopping by!

very attractive and cute hand made gift card holder but the use of video is just wow and helpful to understand how to make it, have you any idea about creating
plastic card holders?
