Guest Designer Day

My name is Emily Cook and I have been scrapbooking for about a year and a half and I started making cards about 4 months ago. I have my own basketball team of boys, and I am blessed to have a wonderful husband who puts up with and most of the time supports my scrappy obsession (he even turned the workout room in to a scrap room for me).

Emily used Christmas Bonnie on this darling card

October 10th will mark our 6 year wedding anniversary. In June I became SDU certified and currently teach scrapbooking classes at our local Michaels crafts store. I am a major chocoholic, so much so that I named one of my 2 cats Godiva.

Tutorial Tuesday - 3D Decoupage

It's Tuesday tutorial with me Jo.

Today I'm looking at 3D Decoupage also known as paper tole or layering, it is one of the most popular card making techniques in the UK.

Basically, its about creating 3D pictures from multiple copies of one image and layering using 3d foam pads, cutting out individual elements and glue into layers to create depth in the picture.

Click on the tutorial tab above, to view my full basic tutorial.  Please pop back on Saturday to see another fab tutorial from Nathalie!

Meet our Guest Designer - Lorraine Lowe

It's Guest Designer time and I am delighted to introduce you to Lorraine Lowe.
The picture below if you follower Lorraines blog is her avatar!!

Hi everyone, I have been a crafter for several years but it has become a full time passion since my early retirement from work due to ill health about 5 years ago.

Lorraine used Penny and her Teddy to create this adorable card

I find so much inspiration and joy from visiting fellow crafters blogs, I am a proud DTM of several challenge blogs. I have rather a fondness for tutorials and love to try something different to show on my blog with a hope that it will inspire other crafters.

Thanks so much for being our Guest DT this week Lorraine, your work is stunning!!

Delightful Challenges New Designer

Morning everyone, hope you all had a FANTASTIC weekend and got lots of great deal at tax free weekend (shame it doesn't apply to craft products!!)

I am super thrilled to share with you all our newest Designer who is joining the Digital Delights family. Welcome Sharon!! Sharon is joining our Delightful Challenges DT and you can see her first creation over at Delightful Challenges this Thursday:)

Hi, my name is Sharon Caudle, and I am addicted to card making. *smile* I am married to my soul mate, Randy, and we share five wonderful children and four glorious grandsons. During the day, I’m the office manager for a regional trucking company that is based in the northwest. And at night, you will usually find me sitting at my craft area, many times with a grandson on my lap. :) I can’t even remember exactly when I started scrapbooking anymore, but I fell in love with card making about four years ago. It enables me to share a little piece of myself with friends and family, near or far. I also love to create things for my grandsons. I'm so excited to get to work with Wendy and this fabulous design team! I hope you enjoy my work, and that I’m able to inspire you in some little way. HUGS!!! Sharon
Visit Sharon for some fantastic inspiration at "Gramma's House of Cards"

Have a fantastic day and see you tomorrow for a new tutorial with DeNetra

Meet our Guest Designer – Claire Frear

I'm Claire, 45 years old and living in the UK with my hubby, son and pets.
Like most crafters I've dabbled in all sorts of crafts over the years but I've
been paper crafting for about 5/6 years now. I love making my own backgrounds and
embellishments and I'm happiest when I've got inky fingers. I discovered digital
stamps earlier this year and I'm hooked, I love to combine digi stamps with
other techniques.

I wouldn't say I have a particular style of crafting, I'm an
anything goes kind of crafter and love everything from cute to grunge. If I'm
not crafting I'm usually blog hopping - wow there are so many talented crafters
out there in blog land there is never a shortage of inspiration. I don't have as
much time as I'd like for craft as I work full time for a mental health charity.
My job can be pretty stressful so craft is a brilliant escape for me. I'm so
happy to be 'in the spotlight' with such a lovely and talented team.

Thanks so much for sharing your talent with us today Claire. You can visit Claire at her blog "Claire's Crafty Creations"

Saturday Tutorial - Coloring fur with your Copics

Howdy fellow crafters!

Wendy has quite a few furry friends in her collection,
and this is what I wanted to highlight this week.

The tutorial will be on how to render fur on your
digital images and I have chosen my Copics to do so.

We'll work with "Bongo the dog"
Who could resist those eyes???

So grab your markers and meet me
on the Tutorial Page!

Happy Crafting,

We are also sponsoring Sketch Saturday to day so pop by and see them!!
