Hi Delightful Friends

Today is a special Delightful Thursday because this month has FIVE Thursdays.
With our new schedule, Team 1 posts on the 1st and 3rd Thursday and Team 2 posts on the 2nd and 4th. So, what to do?
We are making the months with 5 Thursdays our Guest Designer post.  Woohoo!  Our guest designers will be chosen from the monthly Top 3 entries selected by the design team from our NEW Digital Delights Monthly Challenge .  Each guest designer will receive an image of choice to use for your GDT post.   We'll feature our first set of guest designers on the 5th Thursday in October.

Would you like a chance to be one of our guest designers?  All you have to do is participate in our monthly Anything Goes challenge.  The challenge opened last week but you still have a week to enter since the challenge is open for two weeks.

Here are the challenge guidelines:

*Only ONE entry per person (multiples will be removed)
*Each project must include a STAMPED image, either rubber or digital
*Project must be new for the challenge, no back linking
*You have TWO weeks to link up your project
*Winner will be selected by Random.Org
*Winner and TOP 3 will be posted here 5 minutes before the next challenge
 (every 4th Thursday)

You'll be entering for a chance to win a
$10 Gift Voucher
for projects using  a Digital Delights image,

 or a
$5 Gift Voucher
for projects using a stamped image (rubber or digital) that is not from Digital Delights.

So what are you waiting for?  You can enter the challenge by clicking on the Challenge tab above or clicking on this badge.

We hope you'll visit our new challenge blog to see the wonderful projects being shared by Team 2 and then to link up your own project.

Delightful Wednesday- "Summer"

What a fun month we have had with summer as our theme! I think Jane Savage and I sure enjoyed ourselves! :)

With that being said, hear is Tubing Sally!
I always think an image can't get any better from Wendy, but she has so many wonderful images to choose from! It is hard not to go crazy sometimes, lol!
We sure have been enjoying our pool and spa in our back yard these days! Sitting outside in the evenings when the weather is a bit cooler is rather enjoyable too! When it hits the 100's in Texas, going out swimming usually has to be in the late afternoon! You can still tan, but not get fried! ;)

Here are the supplies I used:
Spellbinders- Standard Circles Large
The Paper Studio- Grid Lines- Blue
Botanical Collection- 6x6 Paper Stack
Martha Stewart- Bangle Chain Trm
Stampabilities- Baby Blue (ink)
The Paper Studio- Alphabet Punch Set
Copics, White Gel Pen, and Flower

Hugs, and happy crafting!
Sandy.

Hostess Monday with Nick

Hi Digital Delight´s Lovers!

Today it´s my turn - Nick -  to be your Monday Hostess.
One thing I love about summer is eating ice cream. I like ice cream all year round (lol) but I enjoy it even more a warm summer day, don´t you?

You can find some great ice cream images at Digital Delights shop. Here are some of my favs:
Ice Cream Parlor Accessories

Ice Cream Roxy

 Patchy Bear

You can get all images in black or white or pre-coloured!

There are also great paper packs to go with any ice cream related project, I like these ones

I have made an Easel card using another great ice cream image...
Chillin out Maizy

I also used a sentiment from this set
Ice Cream Sentiments Set

Ice Cream Sentiment Set
This is how it turned out

I coloured Maizy with ProMarkers. I then fussy cut her out and added her with some 3-d dots.

When you make an Easel card you have to have something to hold the image up. I thought this sentiment would work out great for this, so I added it and some ice creams that I also fussy cut from the pattern paper with some more 3-d dots.

I used some white cardstock to cut out a shape and wrote Wish you a Happy Summer. Will also add our names there later on. This bit you won´t see until you lift up the front page fully. This is what the bottom page look like.

I used lots of layers and matted them with white cardstock.
Paper is from Sassafras and called Me Likey. I like to use papers that have matching patterns or colours. Then you only need to cut into one paper to make a card but it looks like you used several.

I also used two die cuts, the sun (Lawn Fawn) and the wave (Talored Expression). Also added some yellow eyelets down the bottom.

Hugs
Nick
